Is Covid-19 History’s Biggest Translation Challenge?


As we continue to face the Coronavirus pandemic, how can we ensure that the correct and up-to-date information is provided to everyone, regardless of the language they speak? Google Translate is unfortunately not the answer, as there are many languages that are not supported, and there is also a high risk of incorrect translations of critical information. There is no easy answer. However, I think we can all agree this is important enough we should evaluate all avenues possible to best help everyone in preventing this terrible illness.
